When you don’t work, can one really look forward to, or celebrate Friday? An arguement could be made for or against, but in my mind it’s simply an “extra” day that I have been given to use to be a productive member of society, not to mention as a member of my family.
Today we will start into the final preparation mode for a large family picnic we are having on Sunday. Time to get the seating arranged, make sure things are in good repair, etc.
To throw a little “monkey-wrench” into the day, we just got a call that our grand daughter’s pediatrician heard a “slight” heart murmur and she’s trying to get in to see a pediatric cardiologist today. (They don’t think it’s anything, but it MUST be checked out) Of course, news like this is all too real for a heart tranplant recipient.
Needless to say, I’m sure things will be abit tense here today.
