Home Safely

We drove home yesterday from our son’s home. It was a LONG day of driving in the rain and fog. The little temperature gauge on the dashboard held steady in the 33 to 34 range and I worried about freezing rain or sleet and snow at any point.

Regardless, we made it home from a great trip to see my son, his lovely wife and their 2 gorgeous children. We also worked through a fairly large task list where a great many things were replaced, repaired, sorted out, cleaned, thrown away, installed or tightened. We always had help for these tasks. If you consider a 4 year old and a 2 year old as actual “help”. (They were more of a diversion)

Now we are home for 11 days, to catch up on things before going back for Christmas. I’m still tired this morning so I’m not sure how much “stuff” will actually be accomplished today. So, I think I will sit here and read the blogs of my transplant friends and see what’s going on in their lives.
