“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” ~ Buddha
The above quote from Buddha is very accurate! Today is a day for me to reflect a bit. To remember my donor, my family, my faith and my friends. And to be thankful for all that I have. as I have truly lived a blessed life
Three years ago today I was given a second chance at life. I beat the odds in so many different and enormous ways while receiving my heart transplant that it changed me. What we do today DOES matter and how we live life today DOES matter as well.
I am grateful EVERY day for this second chance at life. I pray daily and thank God for what I have been given. I also pray that my donor’s soul and my donor’s family be blessed each and every day. I thank my family for everything they’ve done for me, and I pray that he blesses the Doctors, nurses and staff in all of our wonderful medical facilities that help perform miracles each and every day.
Every day, tell the people you love exactly that!!
Today, I have plans …… lots of them, as I usually do …… and what I do and how I live my life today does matter! I refuse to waste time, like life, it can be so fleeting.
I simply let love surround me and comfort me. I am blessed
