To preface this post, I’ve been out of school for literally decades.
Recently I joined a site of my old high school classmates. There are old friends, there are some that I don’t have a clue in my feeble mind, whom they are. It’s been a long time. Decades!!
Fast forward to yesterday and I got an email from a guy I used to hang out with. He read about my heart transplant and of the questions he asked me, there was one that really jumped off the monitor …….
“Since you’ve had a heart transplant, what do you regret your in life?”
A fair question, for some I suppose. It didn’t take me long to respond. Basically, I said that I am VERY happy, VERY content and VERY thankful for all I’ve received in my life. Do I have regrets? Hell yes I have some regrets, don’t we all? But they pale in comparison to my blessings.
If I added up all the bad things that have happened in this thing we call life and put them in a pile next to all of the good things that have happened in my life, the good is a hundred times …. no, a thousand times bigger than the bad!!
I’ve been BLESSED my entire life ……… LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
“Live your life with no regrets”
