This week has been ROUGH on my normal diet control. With both Thanksgiving and my birthday in the same four-day period, I’ve not paid as much attention as I normally do to my food intake. We’ve had a huge Thanksgiving dinner, plus I’ve been out to dinner with friends four times in the past week.
I hate going for my clinical visits with any weight gain. Twice I was there for my biopsy and clinical visit and heard the comment from my transplant coordinator, “You’ve gained TWO pounds since your last visit, watch that weight”. Comments like that sting a bit, even though I lost that weight both times.
Next week, I have a biopsy and clinical visit and according to my records, I’ve gained 1.5 pounds since my last visit on Jun 1st. That minimal amount of weight gain only changes the BMI (Body Mass Index) by 0.1 points and my BMI is 23.1 which is well into the normal range.
Just one of those things to worry about, I guess!!
Maybe a few days on the South Beach Diet will help?
Life is GOOD!
Maybe I should have more dinners with my grand-daughter and her friend, it’s certainly appears to be LOW calorie?!?!?
