Look For Trains

I saw this sign the other day and it really got me thinking about life.

The sign below is simple … “Look For Trains”

But, often we don’t even see them coming. The morning the heart attack knocked me out of my desk chair and led to a heart transplant 13 days later was a totally unseen train. Recently, a family member didn’t see a “train” coming and is now in ICU.

While we all should, “Stop! Look! And, Listen!” at all railroad crossings, we often don’t have that opportunity in life.

You never know when that train is going to hit you …… so, thank God for your blessings each day, love deeply every day, minimize loose ends and unfinished business, for we never know what’s right around the corner for us.

Stop! Look! Listen!
