Follow Up – Calling From a Coma

Last December I wrote a post on these pages about “calling from a coma”.  The short version of that story was that I was in a coma in the hospital where I would have my heart transplant about 2 days later. My family went to dinner about 2 miles from the hospital and while they were there, my cell phone, which was safely shutoff and in my den about an hour away decided to have a little “FUN” and dial them up.

Needless to say, THEY WERE TOTALLY FREAKED OUT!

You can read that entire post right HERE.

Today, I was with the CEO & CFO of My2ndHeartBeat and we were in the same “Little Italy” area where the above incident happened. All of the sudden I hear a scream, “OMG, there’s the place we were when you called us from your coma.”

I never knew the name of the place, but took the picture below, sent to my son, who verified that was the place where that freaky event took place.

Sometimes, life is stranger than fiction.
