Another Day In Paradise ~ Organ Donor Awareness Month

“She calls out to the man on the street
He can see she’s been crying
She’s got blisters on the soles of her feet
Can’t walk but she’s trying

Oh think twice, its another day for you and me in paradise”

~ Phil Collins, Another Day in Paradise

There are over 120,000 people waiting for an organ transplant today. They and their families are crying out in pain, in agony for a life saving organ transplant. They are hooked to heart pumps, dialysis machine and/or on toxic and expensive mixtures of medications to simply help them survive until they can be transplanted. Their quality of life brings them to tears. They are relative, friends or relatives of friends and they are calling out to you.

Please register to be an organ donor today – http://donatelife.net/register-now/

  1. Ms. A says:

Until I was thrown into this with my son, I never realized just how many people are waiting for organs. Yes, you hear about it, but it takes on a whole new meaning when you start witnessing it firsthand, meeting people waiting, losing people waiting and finding people that have been given the gift of life by organ donation.
