Listening To Your Heart

“Listen to your intuition and the quiet promptings of your heart.”

This past Monday, 9/22/2014, I had an “off day”.

Nothing felt right in my world. I was not as physically active as I normally am. I was fairly emotional. I was distant to a large degree. I felt a bit sad. My mind wandered all over the place as though I had no focus, like I had lost my bearings.

All for no apparent reason.

My Mom used to tell us as children to always watch and listen for signs from God. To listen to our intuition, to listen to our hearts.

But, my heart was given to me by a hero, by way of a heart transplant.

Was my hero missing an important event? A birthday, an anniversary? Some person or place?

Perhaps, my borrowed heart was trying to tell me something?

But what?

I may never know, but I am always listening.

Thank God for this amazing heart, for my heroic donor and for life!

Wondering if you had any unusual dreams during that time, too? Also, wonder if my son experiences this and if he might even make that same connection.
