Memorial Day

“And they who for their country die shall fill an honored grave, for glory lights the soldier’s tomb, and beauty weeps the brave.”

~ Joseph Rodman Drake

It’s simply not a day off from work, a day for a picnic, or to go shopping.

Today is a day to remember and honor all of the fallen men and women who stood in harm’s way and gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedoms, our way of life, here in the United States. And to the fight for freedom of others around the world. They had courage that we can never dream of. They are heroes and they deserve not only our recognition, but also our prayers and our tremendous gratitude.

Please take some time today to offer a prayer … to remember them … to honor them!

And then say a prayer for today’s soldiers that they stay safe.

May God always bless their souls!!
