Donor Remembrance Day

Today, April 30th, is the day when we HONOR and CELEBRATE our donor heroes who have given the gift of life through organ, tissue and eye donations. Together we “plant” Forget-Me-Not flowers to symbolize that these heroes and their gifts will NEVER be forgotten.

I know I will never ever forget the gift of life that my donor, BENNY KEITH WARD, gave to me. Many times, each and every day, I pray for Benny Keith and his family. I also pray for the families of ALL donors. I have been BLESSED to have met a number of donor families …….. their loved ones are true heroes.

(Actually, with the quarantine in place, my flowers are going to be planted a little late this year.)

Very inspirational post! It’s a great reminder that we’re all in this thing called life together?
