Happy Thanksgiving

“The greatest gift one can give is thanksgiving. In giving gifts, we give what we can spare, but in giving thanks we give ourselves.”

~ David Steindl-Rast

While this year has been more than chaotic for almost everyone, I find many things to be thankful for each day. This gratitude has helped me navigate and overcome some very difficult personal times the past few months. I’ve lost a lot of sleep, and have had many dark days, But, each and every day I gave thanks to God in prayer for the little things that I witnessed, and others that I didn’t see but were present in my life. Last night, on the Eve of Thanksgiving, it appears that the personal issue may be coming to an end. There is a ray of hope, and that is my true Thanksgiving. (Thank you, Lord)
