I am a heart transplant recipient and these are my stories and thoughts. My desire is to assist others pre or post heart transplant in anyway possible. Please feel free to contact me if you have a question.
Sometime in the 1980s a woman was born. We met in 2016, when she had just died, and I was staying alive on batteries. Her heart came to life again in my body through the miracle of a heart transplant. We keep each other going, and life is good. She is my hero, a hero who saved my life with the gift of checking the donor box.

Hi Julie, you must have had a LVAD prior to transplant? Congrats on your transplant. Where? And How are you doing? Be well!
